Contract

You agree to the terms set forth in the vendor contract, provided below. Signed copy of the contract will be provided by the vendor before site is live as agreed in the vendor registration agreement. By agreeing to these terms and policies you are agreeing to the below contract details even if additional signed contract is not provided.

By moving forward with the vendor registration process the vendor/business is agreeing to the below contract details.

These terms are a legally binding contract between you and Salt & Soul LLC. This contract sets out your rights and responsibilities when you use any of our services, you’re agreeing to these terms.
Your Account a)You must be 18 years or older to use our Services. Minors under 18 and at least 13 years of age are only permitted to use our Services through an account owned by a parent or legal guardian with their appropriate permission and under their direct supervision.b)It’s prohibited to use false information or impersonate another person or company through your account.c)You may not use language that is offensive, vulgar, infringes someone’s intellectual property rights, or otherwise violates these terms.d)You’re solely responsible for any activity on your account. If you’re sharing an account with other people, then the person whose financial information is on the account will ultimately be responsible for all activity. If you’re registering as a business entity, you personally guarantee that you have the authority to agree to the Terms on behalf of the business.e)Salt & Soul LLC will automatically deduct all fees owed from your payment account. We reserve the right to suspend your selling privileges at any time pending payment if an outstanding balance should incur.f)Salt & Soul LLC is responsible for remitting all sales tax collected through the site. You agree to provide any information required to complete the filing.
Your Content
a)You are solely responsible for your content. You represent that you have all necessary rights toyour content and that you’re not infringing or violating any third party’s rights by posting it.
b)We don’t claim any ownership to your content, but we have your permission to use it to helpSalt& Soul LLC function and grow.
c)Content that you post using our platform is your content and we don’t make any claim to it.
Your Use of Our Services
a)You agree to pay 10% commission to Salt & Soul LLC on all sales. We reserve the right to changecommission rates, but written notice will be provided 30 days in advance.
b)You are responsible for transaction charges that are incurred through the payment processingcompanies such as, Stripe and/or Paypal.
c)You are responsible for setting up shipping for your store. This includes rates and logistics. Salt &Soul LLC will be available for assistance.
d) You agree that you will not violate any laws in connection with your use of the services. This includes any local, state, federal, and international laws that may apply to you. For example, it’s your responsibility to obtain any permits or licenses that your shop requires.
e) You may terminate your account with Salt & Soul LLC at any time with no penalty. However, any outstanding balance will be owed in full.
d) We may terminate or suspend your account and your access to the services at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice. Salt & Soul may refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason.
e) We reserve right to change, suspend, or discontinue any of the services at any time, for any reason. We will not be liable to you for the effect that any changes to the services may have.
By moving forward with the vendor process, vendor acknowledges that if vendor has deemed it necessary or desirable, vendor has raised and obtained satisfactory answers to any questions about the clarity, legibility or readability of this Agreement. The undersigned represents that he/she is authorized to execute this Agreement on behalf of the vendor and to bind the Party to perform its respective obligations under this Agreement.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

WP Mail Logging

When you use this site several actions (e.g. commenting) trigger the dispatch of emails. They contain information about you associated with your email address. Which data are part of these emails depends on the action performed. These emails are stored and accessible to the site management as log.

Woocommerce

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store. While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll reserve the right to use this information for purposes, such as, to:

  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store offerings
  • Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for 3 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

Payments

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Analytics

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
